SOA Governance Lead

Assist the client in planning for, mobilizing, executing and measuring SOA Governance. Work with the client to develop an SOA Governance strategy, roadmap and organizational charter. Assist the client in defining governance processes. Manage and facilitate the preparation and communication of the program's SOA Strategy, Roadmap and Charter. Manage and facilitate training and stakeholder understanding of the SOA Reference Architecture. Provide recommendations to the client on current SOA Governance tools. Support the client technical team in managing the implementation of SOA Governance tools. Support the client in defining and managing registries and repositories for data and services. Draft and assist in facilitating the communication of agreements amongst and across stakeholder communities. Assist in the development and support the facilitation of Communities of Interest (COIs). Organize governance-related feedback and recommendations from users and stakeholders. Represent the client on Army/DoD SOA Governance working groups.Communicate professionally both verbally and written. Manage overall governance activities from a people, process and technology perspectiveManage the Service lifecycle definition, associated metrics, and required reportsBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field preferred Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), general program management, and software architecture. Minimum 4 years experience developing governance plans and strategies, and other customer service related activities to satisfy the demands of a DoD system development program. Experience on at least one (1) project working with registries and/or repositories in an SOA environment. Experience on at least one (1) project leading the process of developing, implementing and sustaining an SOA governance strategy and plan. Experience on at least one (1) project leading the definition, implementation, and management of IT Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Experience on at least one (1) project leading or playing a prominent role on an IT or Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance body, project portfolio management or shared services management team; activities to include consensus building, prioritization of requirements and goals, adjudication of priorities, and the development of a body of knowledge or work. Experience developing a Metrics Model and specific metrics to validate the SOA performance against the Governance and SLA requirementsExperience with SOA/web service management products such as:AmberPoint Blue Titan SOA Software WebLayers Demonstrated experience in leading or facilitating multi-organizational Enterprise Governance council groupsOther Qualifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good interpersonal and presentation skills Good communication skills Good leadership and organizational skills Ability to set technical direction for a project or application Ability to work independently and as part of a team Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
