SQL DBA / T-SQL Developer

Capitol Supply, Inc. a leading supplier of products to the U.S. Federal Government, is seeking a talented SQL DBA / T-SQL Developer to design, implement and maintain highly scalable, transactional databases for high traffic web and internal applications.

 

Capitol Supply offers a grade A work environment, a very competitive salary, and full benefits. This position has a starting salary of $75,000 and is negotiable for a very highly skilled individual.

 

Requirements

 Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005: Standard/Enterprise Edition Strong experience and knowledge of how to use SQL Server Enterprise Manager, SQL Server 2005 Management Studio and Query Analyzer Strong experience and knowledge of authoring T-SQL and CLR Stored Procedures, conducting SPROC code reviews, and SPROC performance tuning Strong experience and knowledge of designing database schemas from the ground up Strong experience and knowledge of designing, managing, scheduling both DTS Packages, and SQL Agent Jobs and SQL Server 2005 Integration Services Solutions Working knowledge of how to work with SQL Profiler Strong Knowledge and experience in database backup and recovery best practices Basic Programming Experience in VB/VB.NET preferred, but not required Working knowledge of SQL Server database replication (Snapshot, Merge, Transactional, Mirroring) preferred Knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 Reporting Services
