SQL Database Administrator/DBA

A+ Consulting is currently recruiting for a Direct Hire SQL DBA/Database Administrator opportunity for our client in Eden Prairie, MN.  Below is a brief job description:

Ø  A minimum of 5 - 7 years as a SQL Database Administrator with experience in design and development

Ø  In-depth knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Sever 2000 and SQL Server 2005

Ø  Data modeling experience is required

Ø  Experience solving complex SQL problems, developing solutions and SQL analysis

Ø  Knowledge and experience with ETL (SSIS, DTS, and stored procs)

Ø  Experience migrating from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005

Ø  Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services

Ø  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ø  Experience with Data Warehousing and Microsoft Analysis Services is a bonus

Ø  Experience with Oracle 10g is a bonus

Ø  Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or MIS with a broad business educational background, or an Associate’s Degree from a college or technical school with equivalent years of work experience.
