We are working with a global technology corporation with offices in the Billerica, MA area filled a newly created job in their Product Management group
Job Profile
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for the overall product life cycle of middleware products for software developers.
Determine the market requirements and overall product strategy
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and collect customer requirements for the purpose of developing and launching new products. The Product Manager will then analyze these market dynamics and requirements and develop Product Requirements Documents.
Write white papers and technical material to facilitate go-to-market activities.
Provide sales support for advanced sales opportunities including technical product training to professional services consultants, sales engineers and solutions architect.
Requirements:
7-10 years experience in senior product management roles within software companies
Experience as a Product Manager managing developer tools and related products. The individual will have experience managing middleware or infrastructure software product such application servers, integration servers, and application development tools.
Experience as a software developer and architect is strongly desired.
BS and/or MS degree, preferably in computer science or electrical engineering. An MBA is a plus.
