SR Oracle DBA

Our customer is a smaller trendy internet security company. They are looking for a Sr Oracle DBA.

Job Duties:

Work with Development Engineers and Management to define database & system requirements.

Design the database to meet the requirements of the project.

Implement the database infrastructure according to the requirements and on a timely basis.

Ensure all the database components are fully tested and meet the infrastructure’s requirements before deploying into Production. 

Maintain the databases with the necessary mandatory patches.

Work with the developers and infrastructure team on performance tuning issues.

Test the backup, HA, and DR functions on a regular basis.

Provide day-to-day database support and participate in on-call rotation.

Document processes, procedures and system design.

Mentor junior database administrators
