Constant Contact's highly qualified storage team is responsible for the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of SAN and NAS storage supporting a large SaaS production environment. To continue supporting the rapid expansion of our storage infrastructure, we are seeking a motivated, creative, and intelligent Senior SAN/NAS Storage Engineer. This newly-created position will report to the Manager of Network Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities Include:

>Lead and contribute to SAN and NAS architectural decisions

> Demonstrating a broad understanding of technologies and best practices.

> Understand application performance and availability requirements;

> Design and deliver storage solutions based on those requirements.

> Evaluate next-generation storage technologies; select vendors and technologies to provide cost-effective, flexible, and high-performance storage infrastructure.

> Manage Storage Area Networks, including architecture and implementation of SAN fabrics. Architect and implement SAN topologies, including ISL, VSAN, and related technologies.

> Provide installation and maintenance support of our SAN and NAS infrastructures, including EMC, 3Par, and NetApp.

> Provide architecture, implementation, and maintenance of NAS infrastructure, including NetApp FAS-series filers.

> Direct and participate in hands-on deployment of new storage, including tasks such as zoning, creating RAID groups, presenting LUNs, etc.

>Allocate, and configure SAN and NAS storage as required for new projects and growth.

Requirements

> B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

> 5+ years of industry experience

> Expertise in hands-on management of standalone and director-class SAN switches, including Brocade and QLogic.

> Extensive experience supporting EMC and/or 3Par SAN environments.

> Understanding of current and evolving SAN and NAS products and technologies, including FiberChannel, iSCSI, etc.

> Experience with Linux and/or Solaris system administration.

> Ability to work on a team, understand business and technical requirements, and propose solutions that meet those requirements.

> . Experience in a 24x7 production environment.
