Sales Account Executive -NE/Upstate NY Territory

We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Associate to join the Business Development Team at Protege Software Services, Inc.

 

As a member of our team, you would work with our sales team to identify new customer opportunities to sell Protégé’s consulting services and solutions. In this position you will meet with key individuals at these companies, maintain relationships, identify new opportunities for Protégé’s services through discussions about current and future business plans, budgeted projects, etc. In this position you will also be expected to leverage other resources from Protégé and/or Oracle to effectively manage the sales process.

 

Working alongside Protégé’s Director of Business Development, you will assist with project definition, scoping, and SOW development.

 

Key Characteristics:

 

- Previous experience selling consulting services (ERP, Supply Chain, Technology)

- Experience working with Executives and selling services in mid market firms ($100m -$1b).

- Experience and previous success in lead generation activities and follow up.

- General understanding of customer buying patterns and the ERP sales cycle.

- Demonstrated track record in prospecting and developing new accounts by networking, email, or phone.

 

 Candidates for this position would benefit from having an established network in the Oracle Eco-system – i.e. Oracle Sales, Consulting, Partners, Customers.
