Sales Account Manager

Utopia, Inc. is an enterprise data lifecycle management (DLM) and data quality services company specializing in providing a full suite of solutions to benefit our clients’ enterprise initiatives.  Business processes that are positively impacted include inventory reduction, vendor rationalization, spend management, product catalog development and M&A integration initiatives.

The company's services are built around a unique methodology that combines tools, analysts and content engineers to deliver significant cost savings and improvements in efficiency very quickly. The customized services offered to our clients include data profiling, migration & consolidation, data transformation (enrichment, standardization, de-duplication, classification & real-time governance), and ERP consulting.

Because of our continuing growth we seek a full time Account Manager to join our dynamic team. 

Position Summary:  Responsible for driving sales within North America (USA and Canada).  Position reports to the Global Director of Strategic Sales.

Responsibilities:Uncover, create, qualify and close new sales opportunities through direct efforts, trade event and other marketing event attendance.Manage the critical elements of the sales cycle including Introduction, Pre-Sales, and Closing. Identify the necessary steps required to close the sale and coordinate the resources needed. Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients in order to expand business opportunities with the goal of building ongoing revenue streams with all key accounts.Develop rich understanding of client business requirements and facilitate required integration with operations delivery team.Create, present and negotiate contracts for services.Travel within the territory for client visits and trade event participation; limited travel internationally to participate in operations and strategic meetings.

Qualifications:Bachelors Degree.2-5 years of successful business to business sales experience with a focus on decision makers.Prior experience selling consulting services and solutions or enterprise software a plus.Proven track record of consistently exceeding annual sales objectives.Comfortable working within a dynamic and fast paced organization.

Prior experience working with or for System Integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Atos Origin and software firms such as SAP and Oracle a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives under demanding timelines.Exceptional business communication and presentation skills and experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and ideally, Salesforce.com.

Location:  The successful candidate would be expected to operate from the company’s headquarters in Mundelein, Illinois.  Occasionally this position requires some work to be performed outside general business hours to facilitate evening meetings with our global team and clients.

Compensation:  Attractive compensation package which includes base salary plus uncapped and aggressive sales incentives.  Successful Account Managers can expect to be promoted to Sales Managers within 2 years.
