Position Summary: The Sales Representative for Internet Media Advertising (AJE) is responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals in support of overall sales and revenue expectations for the AJE property. This is accomplished through the proactive selling of internet media (banners, lead generation) products to marketing advertisers and agencies, and managing renewal and up-selling within customer accounts. This is a salary plus commission role.

What You Will Do:
(A) Meet and Exceed Revenue Objectives:
New Business:Meet monthly and quarterly media sales goals by proactively prospecting and cold calling to prospective advertisers, managing the sales process and closing deals to generate new businessManage assigned territory and build strong customer relationships both with new and established accounts.
· Grow and maintain a strong pipeline.
· Identify and understand prospect’s business needs and educate client on ad sale solutions
· Consult with clients on their advertising needs, develop client specific solutions and submit client proposals as part of the sales process
· Maintain the highest level of customer service and customer satisfaction.
· Consistently exceed sales goals by closing. If required, partner with AJE recruiting sales personnel to jointly submit solutions to larger clients and work with channel partners and recruitment advertising agencies to close business.
Customers:
· Understand each customer’s business need and on-line marketing advertising strategy.Facilitate and bring to closure new sales and renewals. Identify additional sales opportunities within customer base by cross-selling and up-selling.
(B) Pipeline Development, Sales Process and Database IntegrityMaintain a level of metrics to meet activity goals (call volume, email, and revenue objectives).Analyze client data, ROI, media buying cycles, marketing philosophy, target demographicsAdhere to all current sales methodologies and processes.Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant prospect information using Salesforce.com.Maintain current knowledge of America’s Job Exchange Products products, solution sets, customer applications, and competitive product differences.Reliably forecast business to accurately predict revenue goals.
What We Are Looking For:
4-5 years of on-line media advertising sales experience of which a minimum of 3 years of selling experience over the telephoneDemonstrated ability to prospect and close media sales in a high pressure monthly and quarterly quota centric selling environment with a proven record of successfully meeting/exceeding sales targetsStrong communication skills, professional attitude; High School/ Associate/Bachelors degree or relevant experience required
Other Skills and Abilities:Superior verbal and written communication skills Comfortable with spending extensive time on the phone dailyAggressive and goal oriented person with high personal drive, integrity and energyStrong time management, organizational and decision-making skills are criticalAbility to work with minimal supervisionTeam player
