Secure Video Conferencing Systems Engineer  Job Code: HTSC04081060   Job Description: Provides advanced troubleshooting support for video teleconferencing Assists with the integration of A/V network systems Analyzes customer requirements and designs a new system or enhancements of an existing system to meet functional and operational specifications Evaluates commercial products and specifies COTS devices and software Creates detailed network diagrams using Visio   Prepares written documents for design reviews, user training, and operational guides   Applies methodical scientific methods to thoroughly evaluate the compliance of new systems and the capabilities of new technology  Qualifications: 5 years network engineering experience to include A/V systems integration Experience with video teleconferencing system components including codecs, gateways and MCU’s Broad knowledge of data network equipment including switches and routers BS in Engineering or Computer Science field (or equivalent) Minimum of 9 years overall work experience   Preferred Skills: Experience with VoIP phones and Call Managers desired Cisco certification preferred Experience with any of the following brands of VTC equipment; Polycom, Tandberg, Ericsson By submitting your resume for this position, you understand and agree that Harris Corporation may share your resume, as well as any other related personal information or documentation you provide, with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (including Harris Stratex Networks, Inc.) for the purpose of considering you for other available positions.
