Perimeter is headquartered in Milford, CT, with four geographically distributed technical operations centers as well as three redundant datacenters.  The company offers over 50 managed network security services including intrusion defense, malicious code defense, secure email, secure access, automated compliance, and network services.

Location:  Milford, Connecticut

Reports To:  Senior Vice President, Sales Engineering & Deployment

Responsibilities:

The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) will be responsible for performing a variety of sales support services including and not limited to: assist in closing new business, presentations, proposals, technical drawing, conference calls, education training and sales documentation.  TSE’s provide technical expertise to internal and external customers and vendors with regard to Perimeter’s products and services.  The individual will provide confirmation of clients’ service interests, review and document clients’ current topology, demonstrate Perimeter’s services, and ensure appropriate provisioning specifications are met.  The role requires occasional travel for on site presentations and training.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 7+ years industry related experience

· Minimum two year degree or technical, professional or trade school equivalent

· CCNA, MCSE certification

· Industry related technology experience (Security Systems, Networking, and Applications)



 Desired:

· Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent

· 10+ years industry related

· CISSP, CCDP, or other related certifications

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Must have ability to give effective presentations to clients, executive managers and administrators as well as write and develop reports and supporting documentation

· Knowledge of information privacy and security requirements regulating the financial (GLBA) and/or healthcare (HIPAA) industries

Compensation:
