Security Lead

Day to Day Work The successful candidate is a security professional that has experience in the Federal space and is familiar with Federal contract proposal efforts. This person will own and drive the security management aspects of the SOW with limited external guidance on a VERY large opportunity. The person will also need to provide guidance to the other architects on security aspects as and when the need arises. This person must have security program management experience and be able to create, review, and communicate specific technical solutions. This role requires someone who can articulate and promote security solutions and who understands Federal security regulations, policy, and law. This role involves close collaboration with Unisys security professionals and the re-compete teams. They will also need to evaluate the draft SOW, call out the requirements, and build out our solution. They will also need to write and/or assist in writing their part of the response to the RFI once it comes out (tech writers will assist if needed). Primary job is writing to and advocating for various client security needs. SDLC, risk management, governance, and process improvement experience is desired. Technical & Behavioral Skills Candidate must posses an undergraduate degree in IT or information assurance/security; Masters Degree a plus. CISSP and or CISM designation desired. Educational requirements are a minimum ten years IT experience and a minimum seven years IT security experience. Proposal writing skills and experience is critical.
