Senior Business Analyst
Description
TMNG Global is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with clients to understand and define their primary business needs, work processes, business rules (explicit and implicit), and project requirements. They serve as the liaison between the business community and the development team and recommend intelligent solutions or improvements to business and related technology problems.

Qualifications
The successful candidate shall possess:
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
· 4+ years in the Information Technology field with minimum of 2 years in an application development environment or team
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 2003 (or higher), Project, and Visio
· Proficiency in iRise Application Simulation (certification a plus)
· Advanced knowledge of contemporary requirements elicitation, validation, and management practices and tools, and the ability to apply them
· Advanced knowledge of html, xml, and related web development languages/tools
Qualifications
Preferred
· Knowledge of the use and implementation of enterprise-wide Content and Document Management Systems
· Knowledge of Enterprise Portal implementations
· Knowledge of Information Architecture practices and tools and the ability to apply them
· Knowledge of Meta Data, Taxonomies, and content search
· Knowledge of database design
· Information Mapping Formatting Solutions Pro 2.0
· Photoshop CS2 (or higher)
Responsibilities
The successful candidate shall be responsible to:
· Provide assistance, training, and mentoring to junior team members
· Assist with the development and effectiveness of the team’s requirements definition policies, procedures, and tools
· Lead major client engagements and manage projects and tasks for scope, budget, and timeline concerns
· Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, recommending designs to match overall business strategies
· Interview individuals and groups about their needs, asking the right questions to surface essential requirements information and listening to understand what is said and to detect what they might be hesitant to say
· Elicit requirements through the use of interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, modeling/simulation, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, event lists, and task/workflow analysis
· Communicate with the development team, making them aware of the client needs and the proposed solution, including desired functionality and program standards (e.g., error messaging, login security)
· Complete all project close-out activities to ensure knowledge capture and lessons learned
