A salary of $60,960 - $93,360 is being offered for this full-time, direct hire position.

Job Description: The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be working as a member of the Information Systems team, providing advanced technical expertise and guidance to customers. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst works with customers to analyze business needs, define and document business requirements, document and evaluate business process changes, research business and technology solutions to meet business requirements, and provide testing and training as required. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is distinguished from the Business Systems Analyst by additional experience that provides advanced skills in technical knowledge and team leadership. Works as a member of an information systems team to provide services to customers. Serves as a key liaison between IT and customer staff, vendors, consultants and other professional staff. Leads and/or attends internal and external meetings. Provides development and technical leadership and assistance to other team members. Works effectively and professionally with other IT and customer team members in a multi-discipline IT environment. Completes tasks that support a project or functional team. Analyzes, defines, and documents customer business requirements. Facilitates small and large meetings and conducts information gathering sessions with customers to document work processes, data requirements, data flows, business process and data interdependencies, and potential future business needs. Analyzes, documents, and suggests business process changes to ensure they meet business requirements and addresses IT standards and best practices. Researches technology solutions to meet business requirements. Identifies available packaged and open source software that provides functionality to meet defined business needs. Researches potential software features, processes, data flows, data elements, DBMS requirements, hardware requirements, O/S requirements, availability of vendor support, pricing options, conversion costs, implementation costs and other related items and costs. Determines overall cost and timeframe for packaged or open source software implementation. Presents options for acquisition and/or development to IT management and customer, including recommendations and reasoning. Technical solutions must satisfy the business needs for the future, i.e., take into account Company growth and customer service objectives. Designs and conducts System and/or Application testing. Develops and provides customer training and support. Provides leadership to peers, inspiring a sense of teamwork and unity.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Management, and five years of experience including business systems analysis, procedural development, workflow development, and project management. OR Seven years of progressively responsible experience in information systems/business analysis, design and implementation as described above. Because the role requires a high degree of internal customer interaction, the position must have effective communication and influencing skills, an understanding of business processes and systems and the ability to organize and prioritize end user issues/requests
