Today, CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations, educational institutions and thousands of other companies in diverse industries worldwide.We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Certified Project Manager to join our Technical Services team at our office in Columbus, OH.This position is responsible for applying CA Project Management Methodology (CA PMM) based on PMI project management methodology and CA Best Practices to project manage the implementation of both CA single Business Unit multi-product solutions and cross Business Unit multi-product integrations into client environments, achieving scheduled completion dates within budget, resulting in meeting customers requirements and exceeding their expectations. The qualified Project Manager must be PMP Certified and have a strong consulting background. Other responsibilities include handling multiple projects simultaneously and assisting in the SOW and scoping of projects and pre-sales meetings. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to apply sound judgment to any situation and negotiate the best outcome for all involved parties. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to communicate both written and verbally with project team are essential along with basic technical awareness of project solutions and the ability to think and act strategically.Key Requirements:* Minimum of 5+ years of work experience as an IT professional and must be educated in Information Technology * Strong business knowledge is required to properly align CA Solutions with customer requirements and expectations * Knowledge of CA's products * Managing a team * Working with multiple clients simultaneously * Writing Statements of Work * Sales * Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or business related field is desired * An active Project Management Institute PMP certification is required * Business travel of approximately 50% yearly is expected for this positionThere's never been a better time to join CA.
