We are current seeking a Sr. Consultant to join the Clarity team in the Midwest. The Clarity Technology Services organization is responsible for delivering business solutions to our customers using the Clarity software they have purchased. The Solutions Consultant combines deep industry knowledge in the areas of IT Portfolio Management and/or New Product Development with deep Clarity product expertise to provide customers with industry expertise, best practices, and thought leadership in helping them define their future state systems and processes. He or she analyzes complex customer requirements, designs and builds integrated solutions, and provides knowledge transfer on the product to customers and other consultants. In some cases, the Solutions Consultant works proactively with customers as part of a larger implementation team that includes a Project Manager and Technical Consultant, while at other times he or she is assigned to a customer to solve its specific problems or challenges. Most Solutions Consultants work on multiple customer assignments in parallel and travel between 75% to 100% of the time. The best candidates will have the following qualifications: 5+ years experience working for a top tier management consulting firm and/or for a top tier software vendor implementing enterprise application software and 5+ years experience in IT, specifically in the areas of Strategy & Operations, the Program Management Office, or Finance; subject matter expertise in several of the following areas: IT Portfolio Management, IT Asset Management, Program Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Project Accounting, ITIL, COBIT; strong SQL skills; strong knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL Server databases; ability to write stored procedures; ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate software solutions to solve those problems; experience in facilitation of Joint Analysis & Design (JAD) sessions; excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills; live near a major airport and be willing to travel between 75% to 100%.
