Senior Consultant - Project Manager - FIS

For more than 25 years, Westin Engineering, Inc. (Westin) has been providing professional services to guide water, wastewater, public works, electrical utilities and other public agencies to optimize processes, retain knowledge, meet compliance requirements, serve customers and improve asset life.

Westin is currently recruiting for the position of Senior IT Consultant with strong experience implementing or managing Financial Information Systems (FIS, ERP, FHRS) in water/wastewater utilities or municipalities, experience with budgeting, capital projects,activity based costing and  general ledger modules is preferred.

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for enterprise software consulting for projects that may include system assessments, requirements definition, COTS software selections, software implementation, business process improvement, integration, conversion, training, deployment and continuing support for multiple clients.  The projects may involve multiple applications including financial management, maintenance management, document management, laboratory information, customer information, and geographic information systems.

Due to expansion, position available in multiple locations including our offices in Northern and Southern California.

Responsibilities Include: Managing Westin project performance and delivery while achieving customer expectations Providing scope and cost control Manage all necessary activities for successfully developing and managing client relationships for existing accounts. Achieving utilization, project revenue and project profit objectives

Requirements Include:7 + years experience with Enterprise Software implementation and consulting in water/wastewater utilities or public sector agencies 3 + years experience with Financial Systems implementation/consulting Project planning and control Business Process Improvement Other application experience such as the following will be a plus: CIS, CMMS, Document Management, LIMS, IW pretreatment and/or GIS applications B.S. in Business, Information Technology, Management or related field, advanced education degree a plus, registered or certified professional a plus Strong skills with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project
