Today, CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations, educational institutions and thousands of other companies in diverse industries worldwide.We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Customer Technology Advisor to join our Technical Sales team at our office in Lisle, IL.This role is the lead technical contact for a defined set of named accounts, responsible for developing relationships with the technical decision-making and decision-influencing customer contacts (including the CIO or CTO) and for providing a technical perspective and guidance for the customer's business executive level contacts. Other responsibilities include collaborating and consulting with Sales to accurately understand the customer's issues that are the impetus for them to consider CA's solutions; communicating CA's capabilities and vision for solutions by preparing and/or conducting demonstrations, whiteboard discussions and presentations and demonstrating expertise on the customer's industry and their competition. Key Requirements:* Minimum of 7-10 years of IT industry related experience, with detailed technical knowledge and expertise within the disciplines of enterprise software * Consulting background with experience in client management, problem solving, crisis management, mediation amongst third parties and meeting facilitation coupled with a track record of building effective relationships with customers and identifying, meeting and exceeding customer expectations * Must have experience managing a sales territory, considering each and all accounts collectively * Establishing accurate plans and forecasts, prioritizing efforts, and generating short term results while holding a long-term perspective to maximize overall territory viability * Must have strong oral and written communication skills * Successful track record working with Fortune 1000 accounts is a plus * Bachelor's Degree and current certification in two industry recognized domain specific areas of expertise is preferred * Business travel is requiredIt's an exciting time at CA.
