Senior Data Analyst

POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Data Analyst works with the Application Developers, Data Architect, DBA, Business Analysts and End-Users in the development, modifications, and maintenance of system software data and reporting standards.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.Ø Responsible for the creation of stored procedures and triggers within the Database.Ø Creates processes and procedures for extraction, transformation and loading of dissimilar data elementsØ Responsible for the creation of  ad-hoc and system reportsØ Performs quality assurance reviews of queries and reports for accuracy, integrity and conformity to standards.TECHNICAL, MANAGERIAL, AND HUMAN RELATIONS SKILLS Ø Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of related experience or equivalent work experience.Ø Requires experience in the following databases: Oracle 8.06.8I, SQL 7.0.  MS Access, Paradox experience, preferred Ø Excellent understanding of PL/SQL and SQLØ Good understanding of data extraction, transition and loading, reporting methods and tools and data modelingØ Knowledge of the physical database designØ Previous development experience in PL/SQL, SQL, and XML required.  Experience in Visual Basic, HTML, Java preferred.Ø Proficient in Crystal, Visio, Erwin and MSOffice softwareØ Ability to communicate effectively with peers, users, and management on a personal or group basis.Ø Hedis, HIPAA, FDA and healthcare experience preferred       Matria Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer Position Information Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Company: Matria Healthcare, Inc.
