Senior Data Interface Architect

Our Strategy, Process and Technology solutions are performed primarily in the areas of Business/IT alignment, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Web/Information Systems and Project/Customer Management.

Triple-i's Government and Commercial Services practices are supported by our own Center of Excellence PMO organization. We are actively engaged with a number of commercial organizations as well as government entities throughout the Midwest; Triple-i is currently interviewing senior date interface architects.

Project Description:

A client requires an experienced data interface architect to create and implement system architecture to connect and import legacy application data from diverse sources into a newly designed information system.  The architect will need to be able to map data sources and transform data from legacy format to the format the new application uses.  The new information system uses Oracle 11G as its data store.

 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong service oriented architecture abilities and be able to articulate how they would create a data transformation capability using web services.  In addition, applicants must demonstrate how they would map data thoroughly and completely.

 

Skills:

1.  Strong Enterprise Application Architecture experience – at least 5 years required.

2.  Strong Service Oriented Architecture design experience – at least 4 years required.

3.  Strong data transformation and mapping experience – at least 4 years required.

4.  Oracle PL/SQL experience desired.

5.  Senior web development and architecture experience – at least 4 years required; 5 years desired in the following:

· Design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementation of software code for multi-tier website applications.

· Object model architecture experience – know how to divide a system into component classes, and assigning methods and properties that make the system efficient to run and easy to build upon and maintain.

· Database architecture experience – know how to create a database structure that best supports the data requirements for the application.

· Integrate web applications with backend databases. 

· Understand enterprise performance considerations and know how to address those.

· Demonstrate proficiency building application for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

6.  Building n-tiered web based application using .NET 2.0 (ASP. NET required) and C#.NET preferred) VB.NET is acceptable, not preferred (minimum 3 years direct application experience in .NET required)

7.  Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) experience – at least 3 years

· Designing and architecting databases in Oracle and other leading RDBMS packages (Required)

· Building stored procedures, functions, views, triggers and SQL queries (Required)

· Administering and maintaining database(s) (Desired)

8.  Business Analysis

· Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming and concepts (Required)

· Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies (Required)

· Design and build conceptual prototypes (Desired)

6) Sparx Enterprise Architect
