Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst

Currently this fantastic company has a contract opening for a Senior Data Quality Assurance Specialist. In order to be considered a candidate you must have experience with ArcGIS. You will be using ESRI’s Arc Suite of products to pull data from the database, do testing on the data and reporting. The right candidate is someone who has had some data analysis experience and who can do some ad hoc programming.

Summary:

 

The Senior Data Quality Assurance Specialist has the primary responsibility for leading the evaluation and improvement of data and information passed to customers.  In addition, the Senior Specialist will:

•  Lead the planning, definition, development, execution, and improvement of specific quality tests.

•  Mentor junior associates to greater levels of responsibilities such as the creation of new tools and improvement to processes.

•  Lead the interface with other operational groups to improve product quality, quality processes, and customer satisfaction.

•  Lead User Acceptance Testing and customer evaluation testing.

•  Guide the evaluation of third party technology suppliers.

•  This position may include travel and on-the-road work.

 

Preferred requirements:

•  University degree in related field such as Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science / Engineering, Statistical Analysis, or other related field or relevant business experience is required.

•  6 years minimum business experience in quality assurance, evaluation, or analysis is required. ISO 9001 certification skills are a plus.

•  Previous work with data products and continuous quality improvement is required.

•  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

•  4 years minimum working independently on and being in charge of the planning, administration, and execution of large projects with no direct supervision.

•  Ability to consistently deliver large projects on time with no cost overruns.

•  Advanced computer skills and significant skills using

applications / techniques to perform basic analysis.

•  5 years or more experience with specific skills in programming (e.g., C++), database
