Senior Database Administrator (DBA)

Diagnose database performance issues and improve database design. Design, test, evaluate, and implement database scripts (triggers, stored procedures, etc.) to meet a variety of user needs. Analyze and determine informational needs and elements, data relations and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements for data. Perform database maintenance, such as backup & recovery, hot standby, storage management, etc.  Other responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, team members, effective troubleshooting and problem solving techniques. Required Skills: Five plus years experience with Oracle relational database and administration Five plus years developing and executing policies and procedures for database maintenance activities (backups, restores, tuning, etc.) Minimum of two years of DBA Oracle 10g experience Minimum of seven plus years IT related experience Well versed in PL/SQL and ANSI SQL Experience creating tables, triggers, SPs, views, etc. Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.Smartronix is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit package that allows its employees and their dependents to have choices with their benefit plans as well as coverage levels.
