Senior Director - Large NASDAQ 100 company - Head of IT Operations Data Center Operations Infrastructure expertise

Senior Director of IIS Operations reporting to Vice President of Global IT Operations.

This role manages the Global IIS team in the delivery of IT infrastructure services to several internal customers and is the touch point for all of our customer’s on a global basis.  The person will manage a budget of $15M and a team of 25 covering two continents and delivering a mission critical 24x7x365 day service.


The service is highly web and eCommerce related, and additionally provides product and product content updates to all Customers. 

Develops or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Detailed knowledge of company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas. Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Recognized as an influential leader.

Works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas. Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company’s goals.


Works internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.

Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.


Experience Required: 8 years experience in web IT infrastructure leadership, preferably with a web-centric or e-commerce background3 years experience in a similar management role as the leadership of IT services in the web and ecommerce arena’sProven successful history with budget and personnel management
