Senior Dynamics Axapta EDI Business Consultant

Job Summary:
The Senior EDI Business Consultant’s primary responsibility is to perform consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics AX customers in the US as a Lead Consultant providing EDI implementation services.  A Senior EDI Consultant will also participate in Pre-Sales activities within the same vertical.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Analysis of Customer’s EDI Requirements Understanding of the Customer’s Business Input for Application Design Testing of Modifications Create End-User Documentation Conduct End-User Training System Parameter Set-up Pre-Sales Support for Customer Account Manager


Credentials & Experience: 
Degree in Business or Information Technology desired 4-5 years experience working with & Implementing Dynamics AX preferred experience with EDI required, in conjunction with ERP preferred 5+ years of experience in IT industry with ERP Extensive knowledge in Dynamics AX as well as in selected 3rd party solutions such as Demand Planner, e-commerce or POS to be able to design solutions for customers  Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to professionally represent Columbus IT Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and oral) Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems


Special Requirements: 
Willing to work overtime as needed and as requested  Willing to travel as needed Must be able to work in the United States Perform other related duties as required
