Senior Enterprise Application Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Enterprise Application Analyst to be located in our Green Bay, WI or Chicago, IL office. 

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 Responsibility for recommending the strategic direction of application development environment including definition of the platform, tools, methodology, architecture, standards and procedures used for internally developed applications.Responsible for recommending and analyzing the Selection and Use of the tools and methods that are broadly used across Application Development (AD) Teams for development purposes. Responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of application development tools and methods used internally by the ITS Department.Leading projects of medium complexity to implement new technologies or application development methodologies that have an enterprise wide impact. Responsible for the project management, ITS Department relationships and assisting with the technical direction of the application development environment and coordination of day to day planning & operations of the AD Tools & Methods Team.Uses metrics to evaluate effectiveness of support and delivery to ITS and to AD Teams. Assists with the technical direction setting for the team.  Reports to Leader Tools & Methods.

 

Requirements include:

 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experienceExperience in information systems development to support the strategic business plan of ITS and Integrys operating customers and applying infrastructure and application architecture (5+ years experience)Experience in implementing or designing solutions in more than one of the following areas: Software Development Life Cycle, Data Warehouse, Enterprise Content Management and Application Development environments (5+ years experience)Experienced in developing various database-related systems using the Microsoft family of development tools from application design and development to coding for enhancements, testing and support. (6+ years experience preferred)Gather and organize complex specifications and requirements from general users and various levels of management.Design, create and maintain complex web (n-Tier) and desktop applications using ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, VB.NET, SQL Server (design/implement, DTS, and Reporting Services), and Crystal Reports (6+ years experience preferred). Preferred experience with MQ Series.
