Responsibilities:We are looking for a candidate that is motivated, detail-oriented with an interest in federal law enforcement and homeland security operations. This candidate must be client-focused and consummate a team player attitude. As a Senior Enterprise Application Architect, you will:
- Conduct analysis of existing IT capabilities, and on-going projects to identify functional gaps and redundancies with the goal of making recommendations that will promote enterprise-wide information sharing and the creation of reusable shared services.
- Leverage your knowledge of application architecture and development to the create the 'to-be' enterprise-focused application architectures.
- Work with Chief Architect to develop the applications-related segment architecture.
- Conduct research and analysis and produce/edit EA documents.
- Have the opportunity to think creatively and operate in a fast-paced, changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Qualifications:We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills and experience:
- At least 15 years of experience in System Development Life Cycle which includes structured analysis and data design methodologies.
- At least 7 years of experience in information technology (IT) engagements and consulting on enterprise architecture, metadata management, web services, business process transformation, enterprise application integration (EAI), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and/or systems modernization projects preferably with the Federal Government.
- System/application design experience that spans all stages of application development.
- Experience developing web service-based architectures.
- Knowledge of application patterns and experience applying them.
- Knowledge of SOA, web services, and web service tools to include web service management and monitoring.
- Experience analyzing and modeling organizational processes
- Experience using web service technologies.
- Experience developing baseline and target architectures and transition plans.
- Knowledge of industry and federal architectural frameworks, such as the FEA, DODAF, and/or TOGAF.
- Must have a TOP SECRET clearance.
