]Senior Financial Applications Analyst Full-time, daysReporting to the Manager of Applications; The Senior Financial Applications Analyst is responsible for providing proficient, professional, and skilled support for Emerson Hospital’s Meditech Magic environment and all financial supporting applications.   The Senior Financial Application Analyst will work as a senior member in a team environment to implement and support current and new applications and upgrades.  The Analyst may also provide training to other employees on the various applications and will frequently collaborate with various Emerson Hospital departments to maximize the efficiency and use of electronic information systems.  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Health Care,  Information Systems, or related specialty, and/or equivalent experience/training with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the health care industry. Experience: 3-5 years experience using Meditech Financial Applications required. 1+ year’s training/teaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of project management, analysis skills, computer systems testing and training. Expert knowledge of Meditech or other health care application software in a health care setting. Excellent organizational and communications skills (written and oral).Ability to independently identify and resolve major or minor problems or difficulties.
