Senior Graphic Designer - Emails Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer - Email Campaigns   Location: Herndon, VADepartment: Marketing and Web Sales Job Description The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design and development of email campaigns as defined by the marketing and sales groups. Positions will be responsible for driving revenue through campaigns to existing or new customers. The Senior Creative Designer will also be tasked with managing a junior designer, and secondarily, other medium design and production - including banners - as needed. Design and produce weekly email campaigns that are meant to drive revenue from existing and new customers. Design visually attractive interfaces and web pages based on principles of design and usability. Collaborate with marketing channels to create consistent branding with online and print advertising. Use creativity and introduce new ideas and concepts to projects Perform other creative duties as assigned, including banner ads and other creative online marketing pieces Interact with marketing and product managers to gather email project requirements and bring from concept to finalized design Provide recommendations on design enhancements, including optimization of email and website content, navigation and advertising Stay current with web design trends and be ready to apply them when needed Manage junior creative designer Job ExperienceIndependent, self-directed and creative, but enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 5+ years of experience in interactive and/or advertising design. Proficiency in latest design tools (Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) with solid grasp of design fundamentals Excellent understanding of web user interface: layout, design, color, typography, and image manipulation skills Solid HTML, XHTML, and CSS Coding skills Hyper-attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within tight deadlines and multi-task projects in an organized manner Project management and problem-solving skills, with ability to take direction well and then execute independently Management skills, with ability to guide and mentor junior designer A portfolio that showcases design style and accomplishments BA or equivalent in Graphic Design, Web Design or Advertising Design  Please send resumes to tresumes@networksolutions.com .
