Senior Human Resources Generalist

Senior HR Generalist

Dynamic information technology company with multiple international subsidiaries is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist. This position will administer a broad range of HR programs for our offices in the US, London and Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this individual will be primarily involved with new hire orientation and set up, benefits management and HRIS administration, including managing worker's compensation and the employee transit program. There will be opportunity to create wellness programs and lead activities that contribute to the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Responsibilities

New Hire Processing and Employee RelationsPrepare offer letters, process new hire paperwork and conduct new hire orientation Prepare letters for terminations, status changes and performance reviews Assist Director with implementation of the annual Performance Management Process Work with Director on employee relations issues Maintain job board contracts and post open positions internally and externally

BenefitsDesign, implement and manage all Companywide benefits Field and respond to employee inquiries regarding enefits-related policies, procedures and programs Work with benefit brokers at open enrollment time; oversee open enrollment process Reconcile monthly benefits vendor invoices Oversee worker's compensation, STD, LTD and other leave programs Manage the 401k plans for US and London Continually analyze and evaluate all existing benefits plans considering cost/loss trends, new industry development and market trends; recommend changes to ensure that plans remain market competitive and cost effective Develop and implement benefits related HR policies processes, practices, and procedures

HRIS AdministrationMaintain company HRIS system and utilize online benefits enrollment features Reconcile employee time off records with HRIS entries Liaison with payroll clerk regarding new hire updates and payroll changes Maintain paper employee personnel files as backup to HRIS

RequirementsBA in HR, Business Management or related discipline PHR desired 2 years hands on benefits management experience strongly preferred Minimum 3 years in Human Resources field Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and state and federal employment laws required
