Senior Java Developer

CIBER, Philadelphia is looking for Senior Java Developers who are self-directed and able to contribute to a project immediately. These projects call for individuals who can insure proper technical solutions are designed and implemented. The successful applicants will have broad responsibilities for designing, building and implementing large scale software development projects. Position requires strong Java technical skills and technical leadership. In-depth programming and interpersonal skills will allow the applicant to play a major part in guiding projects from requirements analysis to deployment. Experience and Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceExperience building high-availability Java applications that interact with multiple systemsIn-depth knowledge of web presentation methods (HTML, XSL, etc)Experience with multi-tier system design and implementationExperience with software development on commercial or enterprise projects.Proven ability to work independently and part of a team to successfully implement projects. Skills and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of Java including JUNIT, ANTIn-depth knowledge of XML including XSLT and XPATH.
