Senior Mainframe Computer Operator - 3 month RTH

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: 1001014245 ·A three month right t o hrie contract position for a Senior Computer Operator exists in Mount Laurel, NJ.  Position will be second shift M- F 4 :00 PM - 12:00 AM.  Responsibilities will be to process and print all batch production and test jobs as scheduled. The candidate should be able to competently handle E server commands such as MVS/OS and JES in our production environment and have the experience to quickly learn how to competently operate our IKON high speed printers.  In addition they should be capable of competently handling Win/Intel issues such as diagnosis of system/network issues; ability to cleanly shut down client server applications and restarting applications according to instructions..  They also need to have the knowledge and skill to clearly communicate verbally and in writing such that issues can be quickly resolved while working with other support personnel over the phone.Required Skills: Jes2- operating instructions JCL-job control Working knowledge of an automated scheduling package.
