Senior Manager, Employee Services

Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an opening for a Senior Manager within the Employee Services area of our Information Technology division. Employee Services' responsibilities include human resources support, recruiting/talent management, performance management, employee development, ongoing learning and analysis/reporting including compensation research and program implementation. This area provides services to approximately 1,500 employees who supply technical solutions to the Enterprise business. Enterprise is committed to an environment that focuses on growing the skills, building capability and providing opportunities for our employees. This manager will oversee a team of individuals currently focused on enhancing our performance management processes including development and implementation of quarterly development sessions aimed at building and driving goals.  The team is responsible for refinement of our performance appraisal process, enhancements and further deployment of our employee transition meetings and reinforcement of our current day-to-day development opportunities such as employee/manager one-on-ones. This manager is expected to consistently exhibit and foster exceptional customer service at all levels. Individual and team development including training for skills expansion is critical. The manager is required to develop and implement short and long range plans for every aspect of his/her areas of responsibility with immediate focuses including performance management, career progression and promotion definition and programs to assist employees with continual career development. Individual must efficiently partner with other leaders to be tuned to business needs. This leadership role requires proven collaborative skills and extremely high regard for HR related work products and relationships. Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa. Required Skills: Must have reputation for positive impact and outstanding work ethic Must have proven ability in pinpointing and effectively leveraging a variety of internal and external networks Must be tenacious yet consistently diplomatic, highly flexible, well organized and detail oriented Must possess strong interpersonal and influencing skills; communication skills (verbally and written) and be an exceptional listener Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and virtually Must have ability to work in ambiguity and complexity; is flexible and agile; able to adapt to changing business environment and client needsPreferred skills: Public speaking skills in both large and small audiences Project management and implementation experience for employee programs Required Experience: Must have a minium of three years proven management experience including all aspects of team and employee relations Must have five or more years experience in employee services or support functions which may include talent management, performance management, employee development, human resources or organizational development Must have experience in developing and driving strategic, operational and tactical plans that are innovative and bring about positive change Education Requirement:Bachelors Degree and at least three years of management experience or equivalent years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
