We are currently looking for a Senior Market Segmentation Analyst to join our Market and Competitive Intelligence team at our office in Framingham MA or one of our New York offices.The Senior Market Segmentation Analyst is an individual contributor role that is responsible for collecting, creating, analyzing and distributing market information to users within the organization. This individual will develop and lead segmentation, market research, and market analysis projects and engage heavily with other groups within CA to assist in business planning, market understanding, customer targeting and campaign planning. These groups include the business units, field marketing, and other corporate marketing groups.Key Responsibilities:* Lead projects that provide insights into CA's business and market opportunities. Develop recommendations for action or further investigation as part of the project output. * Develop deep understanding of CA's customer and market segments. * Mentor new team members, and provide direction and assistance to junior members of the team. * Support other marketing groups and the product business units with segment information for use in their planning and decision making. Assist sales in understanding regional and worldwide opportunities. * Develop new approaches and methodologies to increase CA's understanding of its customer base and market. Investigate and facilitate bringing new tools for analysis into the group. * Work with the Market Intelligence/Competitive Intelligence group on key projects in support of their deliverables. * Work collaboratively with other groups and management on corporate projects.Key Requirements:* The ideal candidate will have 7 + years business experience in market research, market analysis, business intelligence or strategic planning. * Experience in defining and driving strategic initiatives, programs, and product efforts is required with a strong understanding of information technology. * Must be able to collaborate and promote cross-functionality to engage other departments, in particular Development and Sales to get buy in on operational plans and strategies. * Ability to achieve senior management consensus and buy in to key customer/segment-focused efforts. * Innovative thinker with analytical problem solving skills and experience with business model analysis and financial modeling. * Ability to summarize and present business material/issues in a concise and professional manner. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * A customer-focused individual with well-rounded, business experience. * A Bachelor's Degree in a technical degree or business discipline.
