Senior Marketing Associate

Sr. Marketing Associate

 

Will report to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the sales team, central and regional product managers, and financial and energy vertical business managers to  develop corporate marketing plans and budgets, create marketing messages, and position the company and individual products.  The associate will also prepare marketing launch plans and event plans and will have responsibility for public relations, advertising, market research, and competitive analysis.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks and projects:

Ad Production Management Marketing collateral Maintenance of Advertisement Schedules Sales supportPublic Relations Analyst relations Event Coordination



Ad hoc research projects (e.g. new markets studies). Market analysis including sizing, growth, trends, industry dynamics, etc. Development of lead generation plans. Oversee, track and measure results of all marketing and lead generation activities to determine effectiveness of each type of campaign.

 

Skills required:

Minimum 7 years of experience in  a software marketing or a marketing consulting role preferably within the energy or financial services marketsExcellent communication skills with an ability to articulate a product vision and messages.Very strong written, verbal, analytic and presentation skills.Proficient Computer skills a must: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (versions 2003 or later)Writing experiences a must: i.e. press releases, company and product brochures, and industry byline articlesDesign program experience a plus: Adobe Creative Suite CS2 - Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In Design, and Quark XpressBachelor’s degree required, marketing degree preferred.
