Senior Marketing Manager

The Senior Marketing Manager, North America, is responsible for market intelligence, industry analyst and press relations, developing collateral, developing and maintaining the external website, organizing and participating in events, executing direct marketing campaigns, driving channel and partner initiatives, and sales support. This position reports to the VP of Global Strategy and Marketing and includes some global responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Global Level Responsibilities
• Work as a part of the global marketing team to develop global level plans and initiatives.
• Lead select initiatives.
Regional Level Responsibilities– North America
• Analyse customer feedback, sales data, the market, and competitors
• Design, implement, and maintain the marketing plan.
• Work with industry analysts and the press to optimize company positioning and visibility
• Develop or localize case studies, presentations, brochures, datasheets, white papers, and other collateral
• Develop and maintain external website
• Organize events and participate in major events, positioning TechTeam in an optimal manner
• Design and execute direct marketing campaigns
• Drive channel and partner initiatives
• Pro-actively support sales with communication initiatives such as workshops, events, seminars, etc.
• Partner with Sales, Account Management and Service Delivery to solicit ideas, validate plans and ensure alignment
• Leverage external communication agencies, market research agencies, etc.
• Manage marketing budget, including working with partners for joint events and/or specific marketing actions, thereby sharing costs
• Drive continuous improvement in marketing activities, tracking results and adjusting approach to maximize the return on the marketing investment

Required Technical skills:
• Marketing knowledge: 5-10 years' marketing experience in a business-to-business environment preferably in an IT services company with global focus; Demonstrated achievement in developing and executing the complete marketing mix including PR, web marketing, analyst relations, sponsoring and promotional events (B2B); manage within budget and on time; measure ROI
• Communication skills: Communicates appropriate, concise and accurate information in written and verbal formats; excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, drafts reports, runs and controls meetings within project teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 2007, especially MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Some knowledge of HTML and graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate has the following profile:
• BA / BS and an MBA
• 10 years of work experience in B2B marketing in an information technology (IT) services environment
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
