This is a contract to hire opportunity. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for company Operations staff. Support day-to-day operational business processes. Provide second-level operations and applications support as needed to the Operations staff and business unit end-users. Complete ad-hoc projects or requests for Operations Senior Management as needed. Review and refine operational processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to increase efficiencies and support business objectives. Monitor internal and external resources – servers, network, vendors - to ensure, accurate, timely, and quality execution of operational processes. Participate in bringing new products to market in accordance with business objectives: Work with the business units to develop and refine business requirement specifications Work with Operations Senior Management to ensure resources are available to support new business initiatives Suggest improvements / new technologies to increase efficiencies. Work with developers to develop and test new business initiatives as needed. Qualifications: At least seven years demonstrated project leadership experience in a technical capacity supported various platforms. At least five years demonstrated technical experience, preferably in the credit card or financial services industry. At least two years demonstrated project participation experience involving multiple internal and external entities. Subject matter expertise in credit card operations, transaction services operations, or payroll services operations is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively to various organizational and technical levels.
