Senior Oracle Apps DBA/Solutions Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Senior Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications DBA and Architect.  The successful candidate will be involved in architecting, sizing, planning, deploying, and ongoing support of global 11i and 12 environments for multiple clients. This individual will join one of the fastest growing Oracle ERP management team in the industry to provide hands-on technical leadership. This is an opportunity to architect, deploy, and support challenging and large scale Oracle Apps environments across multiple OneNeck clients working with latest technologies including version 12, 10g, and RAC.  Will be responsible for working with client’s senior level technical and business resources to understand business needs and identify/deploy the best technical approaches for solving customers' specific challenges. SKILLS NECESSARYMinimum 8 years of Oracle 11i E-business Suite experience Very good communication and analytical skills, be a team lead, be able to mentor junior team members Be able to co-ordinate with multiple development teams and multiple software vendors on issues resolution, planning Thorough knowledge of the Oracle Applications Framework, architecture, and technology stackExperience in  sizing and architecting large scale 11i environments including RAC based architectureExperience in installation, configuration and support, upgrade of Oracle 11i (11.5.9, 11.5.10) Experience in  Oracle 9i RAC, 10g RAC – installation, upgrade Pro-active management of Production database systems, risks mitigation Experience in performance monitoring, Instance tuning, SQL tuning Experience in hot/cold backup mechanisms, EMC BCV concepts Experience with mid tier architectures 10giAS,Knowledge of OEM, TOAD, Oracle grid-control Good understanding and experience with parallel concurrent managers DBA level experience with UNIX and Linux administration.  Oracle Apps patch management, patch migration processes Instance Cloning (RAC, Non-RAC), Code migration processes Knowledge on Oracle Support processes for technical requests with Metalink Experience in using third-party software/tools desired – Sabrix, Noetix, Opcon SMA, Appworx, Spotlight, HP Openview Willingness to provide future direction and guidance on application deployment/support plans is a plusOracle 11i to 12 upgrade knowledge is a plusExperience in configuring/managing environments with failover/high availability requirements is a plusDue to the 24X7 company operation, this position could be required to be on-call; weekends and nights on a rotating basis with other team members to support production systems environments.Some occasional travel may be required
