A leading provider of financial software and services for consumers, small businesses and accounting professionals is looking for a Senior Performance Engineer for their division that provides electronic payment products and services to over a hundred thousand small businesses.Primary RequirementsBS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience.5+ years significant hands on experience with online service software.Direct experience testing web and client / server consumer software products, including applying load and performance testing methodologies and practices.Development experience with combination of .NET, C#, Java, C/C++, and VB.Database development and tuning experience with MS-SQL Server and Oracle.Experience with profiling software applications such as Jprobe and DevPartner.Expert knowledge of 3rd party automated testing tools such as Silk Performer and LoadRunner.Proven ability to benchmark the performance of existing systems and graph application performance improvements over time.Skilled in project management for performance testing related projects.Ability to estimate capital, schedule and human resource costs of proposed objectives. Able to compare, contrast and prioritize among alternative approaches to meet objectives.Ability to collaborate effectively with Architects, System Designers, Engineers, and QA Engineers, while assisting them in identifying potential performance issues and solutions.Strong technical, leadership, organization, oral and written communication skills.Desirable Skills and Experiences Include the FollowingDesirable technical skills include any of the following: C#, .Net, ASP, OOA/OOD, and technology tools evoluation / selection.Additional skills desirable but not required, including XML, WEB technologies, etc.Knowledge of or interest in financial services industry with focus on payment processing. Experience designing, developing, and supporting complex OLTP applications
