We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Principal - Strategic Planning to join our Corporate Strategy & Planning team at our location in New York, NY. The Senior Principal - Strategic Planning will be a member of a small team focused on managing the Corporate Strategy development process. This is a high visibility position that requires strong verbal, analytical, presentation and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: * Work directly with key senior executives to scope, design and manage to completion special corporate strategy projects * Manage and coach cross functional teams engaged in strategic planning, organizational and operational projects * Deliver high-impact presentations and analyses to senior executives enabling sound and timely decisions * Research, analyze and deliver data-driven insights to support operational strategic direction * Work collaboratively across CA to help secure the commitment for cross-company efforts * Proactively identify and communicate business issues Corporate Strategy and Planning plays a vital role in CA's transformation to a leading enterprise IT management software company. Strategic Planning provides a variety of services to the executive leadership team including leading CA's corporate strategy development process, working with the Executive Leadership Team to shape and finalize corporate strategic direction, coaching business unit executives and strategy teams on requirements, analysis, deadlines and deliverables, leading the development and cross functional directions of select strategy issues and projects Key Requirements: * 4-7 years experience in one of more of the following: strategic planning, corporate strategy development or management consulting (or 6-9 years without an MBA) * Understanding of software industry or demonstrated strong interest in software would be a plus * Relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, will also be considered * Bachelor's Degree in a related field, MBA or demonstrable equivalent experience * Possess the following skills: analytic strategic thinker with superb Excel modeling skills, high energy entrepreneurial mind-set with can-do attitude, strong presentation and communication capability with advanced skills in PowerPoint * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle time sensitive deadlines with a passion for efficiency balanced with creative outlook * Business travel of approximately 10% yearly There's never been a better time to join CA.
