Senior Programmer Analyst - CIS

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Programmer Analyst in our Information Technology Services CIS Application Development area.  The position will be located in our Chicago, IL office.  In this role you will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems and deriving multiple solutions for our Business Partner to choose.  Has a detailed insight to design and implement business partners choices by either coding and testing an application or installing a purchased package and developing interfaces to other existing systems and recommend tools and techniques with no guidance. Provide on going support and enhancements to these systems. Coaches others on technical skills. Reports to Leader Application Development. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent and or related job experience. Communicates well, both orally and in writing, with a variety of people across different situation. 5+ yr experience with the following application development technologies – powerbuilder, Cobol, CICS, DB2, Sybase, Oracle, UNIX Shell Scripting, XML, JCL, Business Objects, and MQ Series API’s. Has knowledge of or experience in the following computing platforms – Windows, UNIX, mainframe.
