Senior Programmer/Analyst - J2EE 08-53

The J2EE application developer is responsible for participating in the full application development life cycle. This developer may be responsible for requirements gathering, design, construction and testing.

 Designs software to meet specific technical requirementsKeeps all documentation current and relevant to the projectParticipate in peer reviews, unit testing, and quality control programsWrites Java/J2EE code to implement the designResponsible for developing Java applications, portlets and reusable components to support overall project objectives

 

College degree or equivalent experience; may have an advanced degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of experience. A minimum of 2 years of J2EE application development experience required. Strong development skills in Java, JSP and XML preferred.  BEA WebLogic experience or JAVA certification preferred.  Experience with one or more software development life cycles methodologies required.
