Senior Reporting Analyst

Public Sector Partners, an innovative and unique consulting company which manages a variety of healthcare related programs, is seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to join our team.

 

The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for the design, compilation, production, and quality control analysis of standard and ad-hoc reports and special studies related to high risk, high complexity initiatives with high degree of independence.

 

Major responsibilities:

 

·  Ensure that assigned deliverables meet or exceed the needs and expectations of internal and external clients.

·  Provide quality control analysis for assigned deliverables.

·  Serve as liaison to PSP IS resources for reporting efforts.

·  Mentor Reporting Analysts as requested.

·  Facilitate and lead processes with internal clients to clearly define and document internal and external reporting needs and expectations.

·  Design, compile, analyze, produce and maintain standard, ad hoc reports, and special studies to meet identified expectations and needs.

·  Collaborate with PSP IS staff to effectively coordinate reporting efforts, including defining appropriate data extracts.

·  Review all report deliverables to assure high quality standards prior to delivery to internal clients.

·  Provide guidance and assistance to Reporting Analysts as requested.

·  As directed, participate in Strategic Activities and/or quality control/quality improvement initiatives.

·  Maintain the confidentiality of all business documents and correspondence according to HIPAA, Corporate, and program guidelines.

 

Qualifications for this position are:

 

·  Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

·  Five years minimum of in-depth statistical analysis and report development experience.

·  Proven hands on experience with MS Access reporting and writing SQL (DML)

·  Expert experience with various query and reporting tools including but not limited to TOAD, Business Objects, and Crystal, or similar tools.

·  Proficiency with Microsoft, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint required

·  Demonstrated excellence in working with large and multiple databases with strong attention to detail

·  Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize independent judgment

·  Strong knowledge of database and reporting software

·  Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
