We are currently looking for a qualified Senior SAP Basis Administrator to join our Global Information Services team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY. (Consideration may also be given for a qualified candidate to work outside of Islandia, NY.) Qualified candidates will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing deliverables and timelines within a given work stream. The candidate should also be able to: * Resolve issues through self research, peer groups networks, or discussion forums * Install, configure, upgrade, and deploy SAP applications, systems software, and products throughout the enterprise with minimum supervision * Identify and resolve system issues proactively * Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP system * Install and configure patches and upgrades as required * Provide technical strategic guidance to supporting pipeline * Provide guidance and mentor junior level colleagues Key Requirements: * Minimum of 7 or more years direct experience in the IT industry, 2 full implementations of SAP Projects, and have experience supporting SAP production systems * Knowledge and experience in relational database concepts, NetWeaver, Java Stack, J2EE, Enterprise Portal, and ESS/MSS * Hands-on system tuning and troubleshooting experience is a must * Must be customer oriented and have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Fast learner and have the ability to comprehend the fundamentals of SAP and other enterprise technologiesOur Islandia, NY campus offers several amenities, including: * Gourmet cafeteria with wide selection of cuisine * Montessori Child Development Center for children up to the age of six * Banking services * Fitness Center (state of the art facility complete with indoor full court basketball, indoor racquetball courts, cardio studio, outside running track, soccer fields, tennis courts) * Concierge services (dry cleaning, package shipping, stamps, movie rentals) * On-site chiropractorIt's an exciting time at CA.
