We have an excellent opportunity available for two Senior Security Analysts with Xacta Corporation. These positions will be located at our headquarters in Ashburn, VA.

These positions are for senior analysts supporting a high level government customer providing a variety of information assurance support. The successful candidates will also act as a project/task lead.

Responsibilities: conduct network security assessments, network engineering, security engineering and Certification and Accreditation work; perform technical vulnerability assessments and threat/risk analyses; participate in system developmental engineering reviews; conduct general security engineering tasks as well as maintenance and review of IDS and system logs; develop C&A-related documentation such as Security Plans, risk assessments, test and evaluation reports.

Requirements: BS in EE, CS, or MIS preferred; CISSP desirable; 7 or more years of enterprise level experience; strong working knowledge of Windows system administration (Active Directory), UNIX (Solaris, Linux) administration, and/or computer security policies, compliance testing and experience with network vulnerability assessment techniques, application level firewalls, Linux and Solaris, as well as physical/procedural security best practices a plus. candidates with familiarity of Governmental/DOD information security regulations and operations will be given preference; programming experience, including shell, Perl, PHP, Java, or web application development a plus must have strong verbal/written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment or directly with customers and system developers. must have active Secret Clearance; The successful candidate will be subject to a Government security investigation, must be a US citizen, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
