The client is willing to sponsor H1B visa for a qualified candidate.POSITION SUMMARYA senior software engineer responsible for high-performance visualization and GUI development for a network monitoring system.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis software engineer helps the project team to recommend, evaluate and determine the visualization technology choices, improves upon and integrates the prototypes of visualization concepts into an application; and designs and implements GUI for configuring and managing a network monitoring system.The development process requires interaction with customers directly; moderate level of traveling to customer site during project development and installation is required.REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in developing applications with advanced 2D graphics and imaging. 3+ years of recent experience in Swing/Applet, Java 2D and JNI. In depth expertise in computer graphics.DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS OpenGL experience Good understanding of JOGL Prior customer-facing experience a major plus.
