Senior Software Engineer-Java/J2EE

At Daugherty, the Software Engineer will be responsible for:

The Software Engineer develops requirements and design specifications, translating specifications to program code or database design. Involved in design phase of project, assists in scheduling and coordination of the project. Will instruct, assign, direct and check the work of others as a part of the project team. This position also requires strong technical delivery skills, and is expected to perform assigned tasks adhering to the development and coding standards as defined for the project, with minimal supervision and guidance. They offer mentoring and assistance to Associate Consultants, and demonstrate solid communication skills with both internal employees/management and client resources.

The Software Engineer possesses a minimum of:

4+ years work experience in developing JAVA applications
1+ years of experience in the design and development of large enterprise class projects
Solid understanding of J2EE architecture and Design Patterns
Experience with advanced OOA/OOD techniques to design enterprise applications
Experience with current versions of WebSphere or WebLogic Application Servers
Experience with XML-related technologies including XSLT and SOAP
Knowledge in open source technologies is a plus (Hibernate, Spring, etc)
