Position OverviewThe Senior Solution Strategist is responsible for selling all CA Service Availability products, services, and training to Named Enterprise Accounts in the territory and co-managing customer relationships with the associated Account Team. Other responsibilities and essential job tasks include:* Prospecting, developing, and managing opportunities in the territory in conjunction with the associated Account Team. * Creating account plans, account strategy, and meeting with customers to execute the strategy. * Maintaining a sales pipeline and providing accurate and timely forecast information. * Evangelizing the CA Service Availability solution and serve as a Subject Matter Expert to the field * Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, taking responsibility for mobilizing appropriate resources as needed to ensure a positive customer experience. Position Requirements* Minimum of 5 years IT industry and/or IT technical sales related experience, coupled with a minimum of 2 years experience and expertise focused on Service Availability solutions. * Experience working with Fortune 1000 customers, sales personnel, customer service, coupled with a strong understanding of the industry disciplines, technologies and applications relevant to Service Availability. * Must have the demonstrated ability to present to, and sell to, Fortune 1000 senior IT managers, as well as strong skills in the following: opportunity qualification, communication, negotiation, organizational, and teamwork. * Bachelor's Degree is preferred. * Travel of approximately 50% regionally is required.
