Purpose: To Design, Provision and Support Enterprise Grade Storage Systems Principle Accountabilities/Duties: To perform full range of storage design, provisioning and support functions on HDS and EMC SAN storage systems. Cisco MDS directors and NetApp Filers and Veritas Netbackup/Storagetek tape libraries which interface to Solaris, HP-UX and IBM AIX servers as well as Windows and VMware hosts. To perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, problems identification, troubleshooting, failure recovery and proactive maintenance. To lead and execute in incident, problem, change and release management processes. To compile statistics on Availability, Performance, and Utilization for management reporting. To drive improvments to meet & exceed the SLA. To participate and advise on technical and operational issues for new project introductions (NPI) To produce and maintain proper documentation. To conduct training as and when required Requirements: Bachelor degree in Comp. Engg., EE Engg., Comp. Sc., or IT. At least 5 year working experience in supporting & managing high-end SAN storage for Enterprise grade Unix and Windows systems in a large Data Center. Desired Qualifications: Experience in AIX/HP_UX/Solaris administration. Oracle recovery manager experience.
