Position:  Senior Systems Analyst – Microsoft Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities:

The job will primarily entail day-to-day maintenance and enhancement of the Microsoft server environment, issue troubleshooting and resolution, implementation of new technologies, and managing projects that impact multiple locations.  The engineering and support of other security and/or continuity platforms may apply.  Successful candidates will be able to set standards, implement and measure best practices, and develop administrative procedures for the purpose of developing a robust and reliable architecture. The candidate will lead enterprise focused projects.

 Qualifications/Requirements: 

Candidates should have a minimum of seven to ten years of experience in engineering and support of Microsoft technologies.  These include (but are not limited to) Server 2003, Exchange 2003, Active Directory, and Sharepoint. Citrix and foundational LAN/WAN networking technologies (remote access, switching, routing, and firewall/security administration) is considered a plus. The ability to successfully mentor others is key to this position.  This includes both IT and business users alike.  Candidates should also be well versed in at least one project management methodology.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong proficiencies in managing people, process, and technology. Candidates should have a college/university degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field experience is preferred.  Candidates are expected to work a minimum of 45 hours per week in order to meet project and/or business demand.  Off hours, weekend, or holiday work may be necessary during maintenance windows.
