Senior Technical Trainer

Technical TrainerJob Description Position Overview This position will be responsible for the technical training of End Users throughout the organization.  The successful candidate will have experience delivering training through a variety of methods, be comfortable training End Users at all levels, and maintain expert knowledge of all new and existing software applications.  This position will report directly to the Technical Support Supervisor.  Job Requirements §  Create, schedule and conduct technical training for the End User community§  Develop training program materials to include syllabus, outlines, instructional content, handouts and exercises as well as a training calendar§  Research and preparation of new and existing software applications§  Work with subject matter experts (SME) to validate course design and content§  Determine training objectives, and develop training budget and timeline§  Improve operations performance by measuring the impact of training §  Schedule courses and participants, track attendance and monitor performance§  Liaise with client on training syllabus and materials review§  Provide training to End Users located both on-site and off-site§  Gather and track participant feedback§  Provide multiple methods of training delivery tailored to the End User’s role or practice such as classroom training, one-on-one training, lunch-and-learn seminars and  on-line self-paced computer training §  Ability to analyze audience needs and align those needs with the requirements of the business  Background and Qualifications §  Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access§  Working knowledge of: Document Management Systems,  Windows Explorer,  Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes,  Adobe Acrobat and legal specific applications such as MacPac§  Ability to quickly learn new software or customizations of existing software§  Bachelor’s degree required; Professional certifications preferred§  Two to four (2-4) years training experience in a corporate or legal technical training department required§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills§  Extensive client relations experience§  Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional groups§  Experience designing and developing student and instructor guides   Requirements: Background and Qualifications Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access Working knowledge of: Document Management Systems, Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes, Adobe Acrobat and legal specific applications such as MacPac Ability to quickly learn new software or customizations of existing software Bachelor’s degree required; Professional certifications preferred Two to four (2-4) years training experience in a corporate or legal technical training department required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Extensive client relations experience Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional groups Experience designing and developing student and instructor guides  Williams Lea offers an exciting and supportive business environment.  We develop our people and reward their contribution.  We work with openness and integrity.  We are an equal opportunity employer.  We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform preemployment substance abuse testing.Apply Online Williams Lea is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
